Welcome to the organized play League for Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Armada, sponsored by Demolition Games! This League is designed to allow both new and experienced players of Armada to engage in friendly competition and to compete for honor, glory and official Armada Prizes. so deploy your fleet and prepare to engage the enemy!

LEAGUE ORGANIZATION

The league meets every Tuesday from 6 pm to 10 pm. Membership into the league is a one-time fee of $10.00 paid to Demolition Games. Only League members accumulate points towards the season awards, although everyone is welcome to attend and play!

RULES AND FORMAT

The league will follow all the rules outlines in the most current version of the Armada Rules Reference, Tournament Rules, and FAQ (all of which are available for download at (FantasyFlightGames.com). The League is considered to be “causal” event as defined in the Tournament Rulebook, with the following alterations:

Points are accumulated as follows:

Match Points: (Awarded only for the first game played on each League night – 8 games total)

  • Match points will be awarded according to the margin of Victory table in the Armada Tournament Rules, ranging from 0-10 points.

Participation Points: 

  • 3 points for attending a League night and playing at least 1 game
  • 2 points for defeating a player in the opposing faction (see below)

Diversity Points:

  • 2 points for playing someone in the league you  have not played yet
  • 1 point for flying a ship or squadron you have not flown yet in the League (The point is only earned 1 time in the season duration for each ship, fighter, pilots, commander used) **(Each ship variant counts as a different ship and unique fighters count separate from their normal fighter)

Players are allowed (and encouraged) to change their fleet in between each game. Proxy ships and components are NOT allowed in the League. Though borrowing ships and cards from other players is acceptable.

Additional Rules:

If a player missed a League night they can play a game outside League night but this will only be allowed 2 times during the duration of the League.following rules only apply to these games  and will be strictly enforced.

  • The player must submit a competed form on the Form Submission page
  • Normal Match points will be awarded
  • No participation points are awarded
  • No Diversity Points are awarded
  • This type of game can only be done 2 times during the duration of the League

FACTIONS

Each League member is assigned a faction that they will fight for, Imperial or Rebellion. The win/loss record of each faction is tracked separately from individuals and you are not required to field fleets from your faction. When playing matches defeating a player of the opposing faction nets you and additional 2 points! Individual standings and faction standing will be posted weekly on this website under league standings.

AWARDS AND PRIZES

All of the prizes are still being established but, some of the extra prizes will be Critical Deck card holder, Hard case card holders, trays, and other special goodies. Stay tuned for updates on the prize pool.
